About Dr Luis
Dr. Luis Piedade is an educator, speaker, author and orthodontic specialist.
Dr. Luis received both his Bachelor of Science degree and dental degree at the University of Toronto. After dental school, Dr. Luis Piedade completed a dental surgery residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Following his residency training, Dr. Luis Piedade received his Masters degree in Orthodontics from the University of Manitoba.
He was an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba in the Department of Graduate Orthodontics for 10 years where his main focus was teaching future orthodontists about clear aligner therapy.
Dr. Luis has been a distinguished Invisalign Diamond+ provider for the past decade, treating over 5000+ Invisalign cases. He has lectured for Align Technology to doctors throughout North America on complex Invisalign treatments. In addition, he was the founder of Ritebite Orthodontics, with several locations across Ontario, Canada that produced $10M in annual revenue. He is now a shareholder of DocBraces, an Orthodontic Services Organization with over 70 locations across Canada and the United States. In addition, he is the founder of Virtualigned, an orthodontic treatment planning service that develops digital treatment plans for dental offices in order for dentists to achieve excellent clinical results.
Dr. Luis believes that clear aligner therapy can solve many, if not most, orthodontic problems. He has successfully treated many complex orthodontic cases with Invisalign. Dr. Luis’ Provider status speaks to his wealth of experience and success with clear aligner treatment, as well as, his passion for treating his patients with plastic and providing them with quality results they deserve.
